The rack F I N A L E unscrambles to 64 words. Full-length anagrams come first, then each shorter length in turn, down to the two-letter words that are so useful for parallel plays. Each chip shows the classic tile score, and the quick facts pick out the top ten scorers. If you want to search a different set of letters, change them in the box at the top and press unscramble.
How to use this page
The full-length anagrams are listed first, then every shorter word grouped by length. Use the box at the top to change the letters or add a blank with a question mark, and the tool recomputes the list.
Tips
On a real board you are usually playing through a letter that is already there. Add that letter to the search along with your rack and look for words that use it, then check whether the placement reaches a premium square. Letters near the edge of the board are best used at the start or end of your word; a letter in open space can sit in the middle. The contains filter on the main unscrambler narrows the list to words with that letter.
Questions
Which of these words are the most common?
FINAL, FAIL and FILE are among the most familiar. Words in everyday use are sorted first within each length group and the very common ones carry a small dot.
Are all of these words valid in word games?
They are all in the ENABLE list, which most word-game helpers use, but each game has its own dictionary. Check any unfamiliar word against the rules of the game you are playing.
