Scores on this page are simple sums of tile values. ZYZZYVAS tops the list at 44 points because it packs several high-value letters into 8 tiles. On a real board the multipliers matter more than the raw value: a nine-point word on a triple-word square is worth twenty-seven, so a modest word in the right place beats a flashy one in the wrong place. Use the score badges to compare candidates quickly, then look at the board and count the multipliers before you decide.
